Sorry to say, but these clamps won’t tighten down around a rake or shovel handle. Too bad, ’cause they’re not cheap.

The specs from the manufacturer state “Holds objects 1″ to 2.25”, so that is when we went by. If you have an issues you can contact us or the manufacture directly please.
