Some of the compact, mid-sized and larger Kubota tractors use the optional Skid Steer Quick Attach (SSQA) carrier, also called the “2 Lever Quick Coupler” by Kubota™ on the front end loaders. If you have this style loader bucket, then no special hooks with welded spacers are needed-many can use the regular Bolt-On Grab Hooks™ or Bolt-On Clevis Mounts™ available from the Bolt On Products page.
This style bucket uses the regular Bolt-On Grab Hooks™ or Bolt-On Clevis Mounts™ with slightly longer (1-3/4″) bolts and a special shim or spacer. Quite often on these buckets the drilled hole will split the seam underneath the top plate, the shim will fill the space and allow the washers to sit flat. The spacers are now zinc plated just like all other parts. Here is the shim installed (Click any picture to enlarge):
Please take a look at these great pictures of Steve’s “Square Back Quick Attach Bucket” (click to expand them to full size). The hooks are bolted to the large plate that runs across the top and helps make up the SSQA receiver. Because of the thickness of this top plate, and the limited room underneath the optional backing plates cannot be not used in this application. Please also note that the Hook/Clevis Combo’s (mounted back-to-back) are not compatible either.

The optional backing plates or “combo” kits with Clevis Mounts™ (shown below) are recommended here for the added strength.
This style Heavy Duty Quick Attach Bucket used on some large machines also just uses the regular Bolt-On Grab Hooks™ or Bolt-On Clevis Mounts™ available from the Bolt-On Hooks page. Because of the thickness of this mounting area, and the limited room underneath the optional backing plates or larger USS washers (if sent) are not used in this application. Please also note that the Hook/Clevis Combo’s (mounted back-to-back) are not compatible either. M1811 is one part number used for this style bucket, there may be more.
Some Kubota BX1880 / BX2380 / BX2680 / BX23S Sub-Compact models with the LA340 or LA344 loader may also have a new style SSQA bucket, these buckets have a very narrow top area that will NOT accept the regular Bolt-On Grab Hooks™ or Bolt-On Clevis Mounts™ like the other SSQA buckets shown above.
Our solution for these SSQA buckets is to use the Option #1 or Option #2 Bolt-On Grab Hook™ with a welded 2-13/16″ spacer as shown on the Pin-On Style Bucket Page. The hooks are placed just inside the Quick Attach coupler as shown in the pictures below.
